Join us as we celebrate MacArthur Park’s 130th birthday! People of all ages are invited to have fun and get in tune with each other.  Participants in this workshop will create their own Afro Peruvian rhythmic ensemble! 

Instructor Bio:

Gino Gamboa is a clinical psychologist from Peru who has worked as a Foster Care Social Worker for more than 15 years. He is also a drum circle facilitator at REMO Music Center, as well as a Beat the Odds drumming facilitator for UCLArts & Healing.  He has been a teacher as well as a luthier (instrument maker) in Afro Peruvian drumming for over 35 years.
