In conjunction with the exhibition Rufino Tamayo: Innovation and Experimentation, LACMA’s artist-in-residence Raul Baltazar will use experimental techniques that involve collage, paper-making, piñata, and painting, to create 2-D and sculptural works inspired by the Mexican Oaxacan artist Rufino Tamayo.
