Merging pragmatics with formal elegance, this portable room divider adds a sense of privacy and sophistication into any room it occupies.

Tessel is not your typical flimsy folding screen. The three-dimensional panels elevate something familiar and utilitarian into an object of desire. Tessel’s origami-inspired design fits right into today’s contemporary aesthetic and appeals to a range of household conditions. The screen divides spaces and creates privacy but also functions as a free-standing sculpture.

Easily compacted or expanded, the screen reveals a continuous triangulated texture that shifts its optics depending on the light and its positioning in a space. The repeating panels can be rotated or flipped to articulate a variety of patterns and customization needs.

As alluring as it is functional, Tessel turns the act of changing or space planning into a work of art.
