Jeremy Carman
2017 Fellow
Jeremy Carman was born and raised in rural Northern California in a small town called Shingle Springs. He grew up riding horses, racing motocross, raising animals, and participating in fine arts. After three years of hand drafting and learning computer programs in high school, Jeremy gravitated toward the art of sculpting space and visual communication. He then pursued architecture at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, earning an Associate of Science degree in Architectural Technology. Jeremy went on to receive a Bachelor of Architecture from the USC School of Architecture in 2018. His thesis project combined his abilities as a fabricator, his architectural practices, and his life-long love and knowledge of motorcycles, resulting in the world’s first “MotoHome™”, a house on a motorcycle. Today, Jeremy is a designer at DLR Group in Sacramento.
